I was recently starting to use my google adwords account which had a very small amount of deposit in it since a long time now. I set up a plan and was excited to see what would happen.

I was hoping for the best! Well, within 2 days my $30 deposit was depleted and my account was suspended until I put more funds in. No worry, I wanted to see how I did so I looked at my statistics, and I was very upset.

99% of the paid clicks were from outside the states (Since my company, KB Studio, does work internationally, I didnt mind), and there was 0 conversions.

What did I learn?

Well one thing I did learn for sure is to not have such a broad ad campaign, and target my market to specific states around me. Landing pages is also an iffy topic, because if your homepage is structured very well, you dont really nead a landing page. It seems I have some work to do with both!
